NEW PODCAST EPISODES DROP EVERY WEDNESDAY AT NOON
Each month on Women Around the Well, we’re joined by some truly extraordinary women—authors, speakers, entrepreneurs, coaches, ministry leaders, health experts, creatives, and everyday women with powerful stories of faith, healing, and purpose.
These are the women who’ve walked through fire, climbed mountains, and chosen to let God write beauty from their broken places. They bring wisdom, vulnerability, humor, and hope—not to impress, but to impact
.
You’ll hear real conversations with real women who are doing the deep work:
Leading in their homes and businesses
Healing from the inside out
Walking boldly in their calling
And reminding us all that we don’t have to do it alone
They’re here to speak life, spark courage, and stir your spirit—because your story matters too, and sister, we rise higher together.
Shellie’s journey began in the midst of deep dysfunction. Raised in a home marked by alcoholism and chaos, she learned early on to adapt, to fix, and to please. But what looked like strength on the outside masked years of inner struggle with self-worth, co-dependency, and people-pleasing. Before encountering Jesus in 2010, Shellie was a self-described overachiever, burying pain beneath pride
and performance—until she hit rock bottom.
In a moment of desperation, Jesus met her in the most real and powerful way. What began as a cry for help turned into a lifelong transformation. Through Christ, she found healing, identity, and purpose—and now, she’s passionate about helping others find the same. Her message is raw, redemptive, and full of hope: You are not too broken. God’s grace is bigger than your story.
You can connect with Shellie on Facebook and Instagram —and trust us, once you hear her heart, you’ll want to.

EPISODE 2 | Episode 1 | Becoming Her:
Marsha Tate is a business startup coach, mentor, and champion for faith-driven women who are ready to turn their vision into victory.
She believes that every woman has been gifted by God to create something meaningful, and her mission is to help them trust God, trust themselves, and trust the process as they step into their calling.
Her entrepreneurial spirit sparked early—while other kids played with toys, Marsha was drawing up business plans. But life had its challenges. Becoming a teen mom made her question if success was still within reach. Yet, she learned that when you surrender to God’s plan, trust in the abilities He’s given you, and take bold, faithful steps forward, nothing can stop His purpose for your life.
Now, as a wife of 28+ years and a mother of five young men, Marsha understands the power of perseverance.
She holds a degree in business management with a concentration in project management from the University of Phoenix and has built a coaching practice designed to help women launch and grow businesses with clarity, strategy, and unwavering faith.
Between running her business, working full-time, homeschooling, and serving her community, Marsha has discovered that success isn’t about doing it all—it’s about trusting God’s timing, believing in yourself, and staying faithful to the process, even when the path isn’t clear.
Beyond business, she has a heart for young moms who feel stuck, reminding them that
their dreams don’t expire—God’s plan is still in motion.
At the core of everything she does is her
love for Jesus, her family, and her mission to help women win—not just in business, but in life.

“Jenna, I just saw the post about your podcast—it’s happening! I’m so incredibly happy for you. Just reading those first few sentences had me all choked up. God is doing something big in me this year—moving me from a wheelchair to walking without assistance, and I’m believing for that miracle to unfold within a year. Right now, I’m in Arizona. We were preparing for a big move, but three days before we were going to give notice to our landlord, God clearly said, ‘Not yet.’ I know we’ll go next year, but I believe this season of waiting is going to be where He performs a mighty work in me. It’s not easy—and honestly, I’m scared—but I wanted you to know that your podcast is launching exactly when I need it most. Thank you for being God’s instrument in my life.”
I just had to pause and send you this little love note after listening to your podcast episode—it truly felt like you were speaking straight to me. The way you shared about being called, that “Moses moment,” and the wrestling that comes with stepping into something new… wow. It hit deep, especially because I’ve been walking through something similar lately—feeling God stirring new things in me, even in places I didn’t expect. Your words were full of grace, truth, and so much encouragement. You were made for this—every part of it. And I’m just so grateful God wove our lives together. You’ve been a friend, a mentor, and a reminder that obedience in the unknown is always worth it. I’m cheering you on and can’t wait to watch God take this even further than you ever imagined. I love you, and I’m so proud of you!
I loved how you talked about Moses not feeling qualified or that he didn’t have to take a class to learn how to part the sea, it was his obedience to do it and the Lord provided equipped him with all he needed. Wow! For me, for years, I mean years!! I have felt a prompting to write a book, but I keep saying well maybe when I get some time to focus, I am not sure how to actually begin: excuse after excuse like you said and were speaking to ME when you made this podcast, truly inspiring me to be obedient and just start!!! I do know the Lord always fills the gaps, I say this all the time, your podcast was a real life God winking reminder; thank you for recording Women around the Well Jenna!
